Welcome to SimplyLacrosse.com and the new Stickbrain Village.  Our website has  grown and developed over the past several years and the features and information have grown at such a pace that it has been very difficult to stay in front of it all.  I have decided to write this blog to help anyone who is interested to surf through all of the features of the website. I will be writing about different aspects of the site that you might be interested in. And help you to find the resources you are looking for.

 For this entry I thought I would start with some statistics about the website to give you a feel for our growth, and vision for the future. 

• SimplyLacrosse.com is just coming up on its 2nd birthday in June of 2009.
•  The Total pages of the combined websites are well over 400 pages and growing daily.
• In the first 5 months of 2009 the sites have enjoyed very promising traffic:
  • 120,000 page loads
  • 56,000 unique visitors
• The website is made up currently of 3 main components:

1. SimplyLacrosse.com
   • The main and original website is really the backbone of the site. It is informational and very comprehensive. SimplyLacrosse.com consists now of 300+ pages of information with over 150 of those pages submitted by our readers.
2. Stickbrain Village
   
   • This is where a lot of our excitement and focus is at this time. Stickbrain village is our very interactive social site where you can create player profiles, add video, pictures, find and create events, and our lacrosse Forum is located here.
   • We also now have a host of business features like our press release center, Lacrosse business directory, and business News section.  
3. Lacrosse Mall
   
   • The Lacrosse Mall is a special project that is still in the works. We have purchased, and are developing a complete mall application where vendors from all over the globe can display and sell their products directly to our visitors right here at SimplyLacrosse.com.
   • Shoppers - soon there will be no need to surf the web for your gear, soon you will be able to price and compare 100's of products from many vendors all in one place. Many vendors means good prices for the shoppers and many choices.
   • The vendors can now get access to our hundreds of thousands of lacrosse enthusiasts who visit our site. This is great news for those small shops who struggle to compete with the big name vendors. Now you will have access to a very  focused lacrosse demographic and massive potential customer base.

Well I don't want to kill you week one with two much info. Look ahead in the coming weeks as I highlight our many features.
